With the project ”Preparation of a Feasibility Study on the Creation of Euroregion Dniestr/Nistru” ICDT facilitates the process of creating a Euroregion potentially comprising several Northern districts (rayons) of Moldova, a Southwest district of Ukraine (oblast) and two districts of the Transnistrian region. Organized in the framework of this project on 7-12 June, the objective of the six-day Study Tour was to build the capacity of local and national stakeholders and their understanding of the concept and practice of euroregions and other forms of cross-border cooperation by learning about the experiences, programmatic and organizational structure of the Carpathian Euroregion and analyzing the applicability of the main findings for the future Dniester/Nistru Euroregion.
